Elizabeth Abrams has 14 years of public relations and corporate communications experience. Throughout her career she has secured media placements in The New York Times, Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times to name a few. In addition to operating her own agency, Elizabeth writes for the popular parenting website, BabbaCo.com.
Previously, she worked for Chicago-based Harpo Studio’s publicity department as a consultant and coordinated public relations and social media for Harpo's retail division. From 2003-2008, Elizabeth was the Director of Communications at CBS 2 Chicago. In that role she oversaw all of the internal and external communications for the station, including formulating CBS 2’s strategic public relations plan, counseling senior management in crisis communications and serving as its official spokesperson. Before working in Chicago, Elizabeth worked at the CBS Foundation in New York where she gained valuable experience creating relationships between large corporations and non-profit organizations. Elizabeth graduated from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism.
Elizabeth is skilled at identifying and engaging with social media influencers who write about topics related to parenting, health and nutrition, lifestyle and philanthropy. She has managed social media outreach and engagement for a variety of companies in the areas of broadcasting, retail, family, food and publishing.
Elizabeth’s work with large media corporations gives her a unique ability to analyze and develop public relations strategies for a variety of clients. She has extensive experience planning live, remote broadcasts and special events and is also a seasoned speech writer. Elizabeth is skilled at effectively communicating to diverse audiences and understands how to build customized public relations campaigns that deliver results.
Elizabeth lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with her husband and two daughters.

Mother Me: An Adopted Woman’s Journey to Motherhood is the intensely personal
memoir by singer-songwriter, speaker and advocate, Zara Phillips. Told from
an adoptee’s point of view, Phillips, a native of London, takes her readers on the
emotional journey she took to motherhood. The book’s United States release was
launched with a multi-faceted public relations campaign that targeted local, regional

Mullen’s: Chicago’s Finest Applesauce was founded by Jim Mullen, a former Chicago
Police Officer who, in 1996, was shot and seriously wounded in the line of duty.
Despite his physical limitations, Jim made his lifelong dream of sharing his family’s
treasured applesauce recipe a reality. Mullen’s: Chicago’s Finest Applesauce
is currently available at more than 150 grocery stores across the Chicagoland
